II - WHEN YOU ARE IN THE DORMITORY OF APC

Dormitory is the place where usually students stay here because of the schools they attend to. Some of the students too far from their homes. That's why they usually tend to stay at the dormitory. If some of you have no idea what the dormitory is. And what is the ambiance inside the dormitory. Here's a blog that I've created, so you can have some ideas..

Like me, as being one inside the dormitory I've got some information from inside the dormitory. By the way, I'm one of the dormmates in Asia Pacific College. The dormitory here are also inside the campus. The dormitory here is located at 9th floor. But not as you think, the dormitory here is not like the other dormitory. There's so many do's and don't here. Frankly, I never thought at first that it's not I usually think.

Here some things that are not allowed inside the dormitory or their policies:
  • Not allowed to bring two or more gadgets. 1 phone = 1 laptop or 1 phone = 1 tablet/ipad.
  • You're not allowed to bring food inside your room. Water is enough
  • Self Bussing
  • You're not allowed to stay outside the campus beyond the time (10PM)
  • Not allowed to bring appliances. The microwave, water dispenser, refrigerator is enough that is provided by the campus
  • Not allowed to bring hair dryer hair iron, etc.
  • If you're going to have overnight somewhere, there should be a permit from the guard and the head of the dormitory.
  • No alcohol, no cigarettes, no drugs inside the campus nor dormitory
  • Not allowed to go outside before 7PM with the 'pambahay' outfit
  • Room hopping
That's not the only thing.. There are so many rules that really sucks! But of course, we need to abide the rules. Even though those rules are so irritating and unreasonable, we don't have any chose because we're still the one who's staying here. Though this is our life, we can still enjoy the life here by enjoying one another. Here are some examples that I can share from what I've experienced.
  • Movie marathon with other dormmates in the lounge
  • Playing cards
  • Have some dinner outside with all of the dormates.
  • Watching TV in the lounge
  • There are some food stores outside the campus, either in the Shell Station/Paseo/Evanghelista/Alpha Land, MOA
  • There's also Christmas Party every year

Well, there's so many things that can still make you stay in the dormitory. It depends on you on how you enjoy it!
